Empathy - Empathy

Tali, a young girl is happily singing behind the wheel of her car. Suddenly there is a bang. But the film does not reveal the pictures of the catastrophe to us that just happened. We only see a turtle fidgeting helplessly on the back of her shell, a symbol. What has happended? 24 hours earlier, dapha decides to get separated from her husband, a successful lawyer. The night before, Boris, a young Russian, has entered their house and treid to rape her. Her husband whom she called afterwards, did not even have time to losuten to her. Boris however has been forced by his friends to commit the crime. We know about this only later as well, just like we learn that Tali has hit a little girl on her way to school with her car and injured her badly. She will survive but urgently needs an expensive kidney transplant. A reversed chronology of events and a portrait of today’s society in Israel.
