Renas is a well adjusted Iraqi-Kurdish refugee who lives in a godforsaken region in eternal snow. Everything is good. The neighbouring Kurdish authorities care for him as well. To make his happiness perfect, one thing is missing though: a woman. He arranges an obliging tele-marriage with a woman from home by making a phone call from the booth in front of his house. When Fermsek, the wife, arrives, she neither looks like on the picture which he has attached to the car window, nor does she immediately like the bittercold Winterland - and the quaint husband even less than ever. Renas decides not to give up so quickly however...
